At the Frontline Fit Performance Centre we have various different modes of services. As well as 1-2-1 personal training and Strength Camp, we offer an option called “Assisted Programme Design”. This is where members have all their nutrition, training and supplements designed bespoke to them, but without the in person 1-2-1 training. This is the story of my APD client Dan and how he’s massively overcome his Crohn’s condition.
In this podcast, you’ll learn about the effects on Crohn’s and how it can impact people’s lives. Dan takes me through what life was like before he had his Ileostomy and why it was a tough decision to have the procedure done.
Dan started with me back in March and was already in phenomenal shape. This being said, there were numerous underlying problems that were causing Dan issues with his training. He was experiencing fatigue and had hit a plateau in his training.
We discuss all the actions we initially had to take in order to improve his health, digestion, strength and structural balance.
About 8 weeks ago, Dan started diet prep for a photo shoot with Chris Bailey. We chat about his exact diet, supplement and training regime prior to the shoot. Nothing held back, everything in black and white. You’ll get a complete account of everything we did.
Dan really has defied the odds with his story. From being told not to weight train, to getting in to cover model condition, he really is an example that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Over the course of 7 years, he’s learned how to deal with his condition and let it become a part of him, not define who he is. If you know anyone who has been through a similar experience, recommend they listen to what Dan has to say here.
